But what is advertising ROI?
ROAS [Return on Ad Spend] is an essential metric to measure performance inside any ad account. Simply put, it shows the return on $1 of media spend. For example, if you make $8 from $1 spent, your ROAS is 8, which you can commonly experience in a remarketing campaign targeting warm to hot audiences. If your return is 75 cents, then your ROAS will be 0.75, which you might see in a top-of-the-funnel prospecting campaign where you target cold traffic to build your remarketing lists.
